Fear: Why people don't change“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.” ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
Here are the 4 reasons why people don't change 1- You love to do what you already do because it is familiar and predictable Of course, you feel comfortable in your behaviors plus your brain is hardwired to repeat the same behaviors. 2- You fear that if you fail you will feel even worse You have invested time, energy and money in your efforts to change and if you fail you think you will feel like a failure. You don't want to feel that feeling anymore. 3- You have erroneous beliefs What you say to yourself with passion and emotions is who you are right now. If you want to change, you have to change those beliefs. 4- Your present behaviors serve a purpose Your present behaviors relieve stress and depression in many cases. Look at the reasons and benefits to change your behaviors in the other direction. Now you can feel your fears and do whatever you have to do anyway. Go out there and do it now. Just Imagine Your Success,
